Worth knowing before you schedule
- Custom thumbnails work on regular videos but not on Shorts — YouTube's API does not accept them there.
- A scheduled upload goes to YouTube immediately as private; the URL exists straight away and flips to your chosen visibility at the scheduled time.
- Deleting a published YouTube video is permanent and cannot be undone from here or anywhere else.
