Instagram scheduler
Feed posts, carousels, Reels and Stories — with the tagging, covers and collaborator options you would set in the app.
What you can schedule to Instagram
Every format below is one our publisher creates directly — nothing here is a link-out or a reminder.
Feed posts
A single image or video, in any aspect ratio Instagram accepts.
Carousels
Up to ten images in the order you arrange them.
Reels
Vertical video up to ninety seconds, optionally shared to your feed as well.
Stories
Image or video up to sixty seconds.
Options we pass through
The Instagram-specific settings you would otherwise have to open the app to choose.
First comment
The usual home for hashtags and the link you did not want in the caption. Not available on Stories.
Collaborators
Invite up to three accounts to co-author a feed post or Reel.
User tags
Tag accounts at an exact position on a photo, or by name on a Reel, per carousel slide.
Reel covers
Pick a frame by timestamp, or supply your own cover image.
AI disclosure
Flag content as AI-generated where you need to declare it.
Limits worth knowing
Instagram's own ceilings. We validate against them before a post is queued, not after it fails.
Caption
2,200 characters
Images
1 feed, 10 carousel · JPEG, PNG · 8 MB (auto-compressed above)
Video
300 MB feed and Reels, 100 MB Stories · 90s Reel, 60s Story
Worth knowing before you schedule
- Whether something is a feed post, a carousel or a Reel is inferred from the media you attach — only Stories need saying explicitly.
- Instagram's API has no unpublish route, so a published post has to be removed in the app.
It does not have to be the only one
Post to it on its own, or write once and let it go everywhere at the same time.
